Need a financial healing?

If Jesus came back today and said to you, “Give me $1,000 and I will open the gates of heaven for you,” would you be able to receive your blessings? Or would you have to go to Fast Cash for a payday loan?

For many Americans, an unexpected expense may cause a financial crisis. An illness, loss of income, home or car repairs can take a toll on your finances if you’re not prepared. A study by the National Foundation for Credit Counseling reveals that 33% of Americans do not have at least $1,000 set aside for emergencies.

I know you are saying, “I don’t make anything to save or I am barely making ends meet now, how can I save anything?” But, if you start with a small amount on a regular basis, you would be amazed how quickly it can add up.

If you are someone who has tried to save but every time Macy’s had its One Day Sale (that they have everyday), you’re there, then you may want to transfer your funds directly into your savings account.  Consider a savings account with little to no access and possibly acquiring savings bonds.

Who wants to be a millionaire?

How can you expect to be a millionaire if you can’t take care of $1,000? Real financial healing takes place when you learn how to take care of the little that God has blessed you with already.  Think about it, how can you desire a 3,000 square foot home, however you neglect to take care of your tiny apartment? Or how can you expect God to bless you with a Bentley when you can’t take care of your Bug?  If you want to really see blessings in your life, you have to learn to take care of small matters before He trust you with larger ones!

Ask for wisdom

Just like you would seek wisdom before deciding whom to marry, taking a new job, or agreeing to a business deal, well the same holds true with your finances. It is not enough to go “half at it” at your finances month after month. Make it priority at the beginning of the month to seek wisdom as it relates to your money.  This could be through personal research, obtaining a financial advisor or simply seeking someone who wears the B.A.D.G.E. as it relates to his or her finances!  More importantly before making any financial move, seek God first!

Put it on your calendar

A while back, I had the opportunity to meet a woman who I considered to be wise, and definitely one that wears the B.A.D.G.E.!  She told me that once a month she meets with her husband concerning their finances. They simply discuss what assets they should invest in, how to manage their money effectively and more importantly how to build wealth.  It is evident that their financial meetings have really blessed them financially and in other areas of their lives as well.
